An artist and writer, Jamie Ross lives on a mesa west of Taos, New Mexico—when he isn't farther south. His poetry has been recently published in 5AM, BPJ, Poetry East, the Texas, Northwest, Comstock, and Paris Reviews, also included in an upcoming anthology, Best New Poets of 2007. His manuscript, Postcards From Mexico, a collection of poems with photos by nine photographers (from which the Gallery selection is an excerpt) has been a finalist six times in open competitions.
