Bette Lynch Husted writes and practices T’ai Chi in rural Oregon. Above the Clearwater: Living on Stolen Land (Oregon State U Press, 2004) was a finalist for the Oregon and WILLA Awards in creative nonfiction, and her poems have appeared recently in Runes, Passager, Natural Bridge, Studio Poetry, High Desert Journal, and Umbrella Journal. Her chapbook is After Fire (Pudding House House, 2002).
