Nanos Valaoritis has written books of poetry, poetic prose, a novella, four novels, and numerous critical studies in Greece. His English books include My Afterlife Guaranteed (City Lights Books, 1990) and Pan Daimonium (Philos Press, 2005). He is married to the American surrealist painter, Marie Wilson. They live in Athens.
