Lydia Kwa lives in Vancouver. She has published a book of poems The Colours of Heroines (Women's Press, 1994) and two novels: This Place Called Absence (Turnstone, 2000) and The Walking Boy (Key Porter, 2005). She is currently working on a novel set in 1960s and 1970s Singapore. Recent work appears in White Ink (Demeter Press, 2007).
