Disgust
In another lifetime
I must have been a caretaker
Because menial tasks don’t disappoint me
Where the snot
Drooling down the nose of some mustachioed man
Maybe some woman
Without a tissue handy
Clinging to those loose whiskers
Doesn’t bother me
Because it never bothered me
Go ahead use your hand to wipe it up
No harm done.
In that life
I didn’t pepper deer with snowballs
When they unwittingly wandered within range
Like the kids do.
