Michael Redhill is the author of several novels including
Consolation, which received the 2007 City of Toronto Book Award and was longlisted for the 2007 Man Booker Prize, and
Martin Sloane, which received the 2001
Books in Canada First Novel Award and the 2002 Commonwealth Writers Prize. He is the publisher and one of the editors of
Brick, a literary magazine. He has also written four poetry collections, including
Asphodel, published in 1997, and
Light-Crossing, published in 2001. His most recent works for the theatre are
Goodness and
Building Jerusalem, winner of a Dora Award.
